A Complete Garage Makeover

The client, Steve, wanted to make better use of his existing space and trusted ID Property Developments to take on the project.
Scope of Works
We kicked off with thorough asbestos testing to ensure safety throughout the build. Once the all-clear was given, our team moved swiftly into demolition – removing the old garage structure including its roof.
From there, it was a clean slate. We laid new foundations and a concrete base before building up cavity walls and bricking up the garage door area to match the house’s existing look.
Next came the roof – custom built to be sturdy and energy-efficient. We added a large new window and two Velux windows to draw in as much natural light as possible. Inside, we insulated the floor and installed a new subfloor for warmth and durability.
Warm, Bright, and Built to Last
The interior came together with full insulation and plasterboarding of the walls and ceiling, followed by neat skirting boards and architraves for a finished look. New electrics were installed throughout, with an EIC certificate provided on completion for peace of mind.
The Result?
A warm, light-filled room that adds real value to the home – both practically and financially. Whether it’s now an office, a playroom or just a place to escape with a cuppa, it’s a space that finally gets used every day.
