A Complete Renovation, Ready for Tenants
This Selly Oak property had great potential – but needed a full renovation to bring it up to modern rental standards. The landlord turned to ID Property Developments for a complete solution: no need to manage trades or chase quotes, just a fully managed service from start to finish.
Working across every area of the home – kitchen, lounge, WC, electrics, and even the outbuilding – our team delivered a high-standard transformation that made the property immediately lettable. The results speak for themselves: stylish, compliant, and ready for the market.
Inside the Renovation
The kitchen was completely reimagined, starting with a full strip-out and levelled flooring. A brand-new kitchen was installed, featuring timeless shaker-style units, updated tiling, and new spot lighting. We also re-routed the hob circuit to support a new power supply for the outbuilding.
In the lounge, we removed an outdated gas fire and repositioned sockets to better suit modern living. Bespoke cupboard doors, new skirting, and full redecoration gave the space a clean, professional finish – ready for any tenant to move in.
A new WC was created with fresh plastering, modern fittings, and stylish touches. We also completed a full redecoration throughout the property, upgraded the shower, and added a new handrail to the staircase.
Exterior Upgrades
The outbuilding was stripped and re-roofed with a new lintel, ply and felt. We added new fascias and soffits, repainted the exterior, and installed new electrics to create a versatile space that could serve as storage, a utility room, or home office.
Every element was signed off with EICR and gas safety inspections. This ensures full compliance and peace of mind for the property owner.
